If you find that some parts are missing when creating a project in Cadasio, this is usually down to how those parts have been created.
When working with CAD files there tends to be two general types of geometry:
Solid Body
A solid body is a 3D representation that has volume and mass. It's fully enclosed, meaning all its surfaces form a closed boundary.
Surface Bodies
A surface body, on the other hand, does not have volume; it is essentially a shell without thickness. They are useful for construction purposes when creating complex shapes that might be difficult to model as solid bodies initially and are usually thickened or combined to form solid bodies.
By default when you use the Cadasio addins we only bring in the solid geometry within your assemblies. If you need surface bodies to also be brought in then head over to the advanced/options tab in the addin and check "include surface bodies".
If you find that this doesn't help, and parts are still missing, then there may be issues with the validity of the geometry, contact support and we would be happy to take a look.
