We take security seriously at Cadasio. We understand how important data protection is to our customers and we work hard to maintain your trust. To help you feel comfortable using our software we aim to be as transparent as possible about our data management practices.
Where is Cadasio data Stored?
We store your data in Amazon Web Services (AWS). By default all data is hosted in the US, however Cadasio Premium customers can choose to have their mesh data stored on AWS servers based in the EU.
What data does Cadasio Store?
When creating an account with Cadasio you must provide personal information such as (but not limited to) your email address and name. As a Cadasio user you are able to upload assets to use within your projects, this may include 3D model data, images and text. All payment details are securely dealt with by Stripe.
Do you store our original CAD data?
No. When you use one of our CAD addins, the conversion to a Cadasio mesh takes place on your machine (or on the Onshape servers), and it is only the converted files that are uploaded securely to our servers. If you upload via our website, then the conversion takes place on our servers and as soon as it has been completed your original data is discarded securely.
Can anyone at Cadasio access my projects?
No, without your request and permission, no one at Cadasio can view your projects. Cadasio restricts access to the production environment to a limited number of employees.
Are all my Cadasio Projects publicly available?
Cadasio projects are only available to be viewed online publicly if you choose to publish them online. You are able to take the projects offline whenever you choose to do so. You can also limit viewing access. If you only ever choose to output 2D content, then your 3D presentations will not be available to share online.
Where can I find information about Cadasio's uptime and downtimes?
Cadasio is monitored constantly, and we publish the status of the different areas of our service on our Status Page.
